Non-destructive testing

What is non-destructive testing

Non-destructive testing is a type of testing that is used to evaluate the properties of a material without causing damage to the structure of the material. It is an essential tool in many industries, including the oil and gas, power plants, steel structures and sea structures sectors.

NDT is used to evaluate materials for flaws, such as cracks, inclusions, and porosity. This method can also be used to inspect the thickness, properties of a material, component, part, product or weld.
