Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)

As a general definition PSI is a part of supply chain process and important quality control method for checking the quality of goods before shipment.

PSI ensures that production complies with specifications of the buyer and/or the terms of a purchase order or letter of credit. A final random inspection, checks finished products when at least 80% of an order has been produced and export-packed. Samples are selected at random, according to standards and procedures. Pre-shipment inspection can diminish risks inherent to Internet commerce like phishing and fraud. 

 

The scope of the mandatory or statutory Pre- shipment inspection (PSI) includes the following:

  •  Quality & Quantity
  •  Review of Document
  •  Packing & Marking
  •  Loading Supervision
  •  Cargo, Container & Tank inspection

Also to Issue required certificate for client as bellow:

1-      IR- Inspection Report- Goods during production should be inspected and tested as per international and/or ISIRI related standards . Then the Inspection Report by Inspection Company will issue.

2-      MD- Manufacture Declaration : which contain declaration of manufacture on subjected order on compatibility of the goods with reference standard.

3-      TR-Test Report: Manufacturer QC department should issue all required data and test results in test sheet and final test report format. 

4-      COI- Certificate of Inspection: After gathering all above mentioned documents, the Inspection Company will issue COI and submit all the package to Standard offices in customs. 

 

During Production inspection

During Production Inspection (DUPRO) is used for to guarantee uniformity of the actual production and specification and also it will Make adjustments early in the production cycle and buyer be able to make critical decisions at an early stage, and avoid potentially catastrophic surprises later in the production cycle. This inspection can be Conducted when between 30% and 40% of your goods have been produced.

ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) is a reference document for this service and inspector will be responsible for all mentioned activities in ITP. 
ITP will prepare and complete with all involve parties: Buyer, Seller & Inspection company to proper approach
